Big Boys Already!

So maybe I am being a bit premature but if the first month has gone by this quickly, it won't be long before we are celebrating one year.. yikes! Yesterday was the boys one month birthday - I celebrated for them by eating a huge slice of pie! It was  great deal for me....

Yesterday was Mike's first day back to work. I was extremely lucky because even though Mike went back to work, I was still not on my own.  We were all sad to have Mike go but I was totally thrilled to have my moms help for the day.  Mike called once to check in throughout the day and came home and immediately scooped up both babies - I think he was going through withdrawal.

While Mike was gone, I set up some mini "play stations" to catch the boys attention.  They are beginning to focus on objects so I set them up on mats and used activity centers above them which they seemed to love!  They were both mesmerized and content for about 45 minutes! It is amazing how the simple things can be so entertaining!

Yesterday Christopher found his thumb for the first time so of course I had to take a picture to keep all things equal for both boys. We are off to the Dr.'s for the boys one month check up later this morning so I will post an update shortly - we are guessing there may have been some significant weight gain!
