Busy walking boys with their lawn mowers at Grammie & Dziadz Pt's

Aiden is all smiles so we know he is up to no good playing with the fireplace doors!

Chris sporting and loving the sunglasses on his head!

Aiden was busy with gate duty at the baseball field.

Chris stops to pose with a fake smile as I interrupted his busy boy walking routine!

Happy Mother's Day! I had a special Mother's Day as both Aiden and Chris were off and running today... on foot! No more crawling... look out world, we have two more walkers! They were so confident on their feet and so in love with being able to move. Aiden walks with his hands to the sides for balance and Chris walks with his hands straight up above his head. Both are super cute if you ask me, but of course I am their best fan!

Today was also a super special day as our friends Heather and Mike Chotkowski welcomed their first baby girl, Harper! We can't wait to meet her and are so excited to have more girls to play with. What a special day to make her arrival. Congrats to the growing Chotkowski family!

On Wednesday night, I got out to do some shopping with my friend, Leeanne. It is always nice to visit and always fun to shop! It had certainly been too far too long since I had been to the Holyoke Mall but I maintained my self control and didn't come home with anything that wasn't on my list!

Thursday the boys went to play school and had one of the best days there yet. They were both in great moods and were excited to be dropped off. It certainly makes it SO much easier to leave when you know that they aren't missing you too much! We are down to two final weeks of playschool so I am going to have to find something to fill our week days in the future.

Thursday afternoon Grammie Hopkins stopped over for a quick visit and brought the boys new shoes! These are especially useful for their new walking feet that don't want to stop moving... for even a minute!

Friday morning I took the boys for a walk in our neighborhood but we took a different route. We decided to take the scenic route and landed at the baseball field down the street where the boys LOVED crawling and walking around and explored everything. They LOVED the stripper machine that was left out and took quite a liking to the fence which they were able to open and close on their own. We also took a detour to see some cows which the boys thoroughly enjoyed.

Friday afternoon Karli, the OT came for a visit. The boys loved the kazoos she brought and had a lot of fun using them. They also enjoyed showing off their fart machine and had their fun making Karli laugh. It's always entertaining at our house!

Friday night Mike went to meet the Fisher's new baby, Micah, and said he was adorable. I stayed home on Mommy duty and Mike came home confirming that it was good I stayed home since he was pretty sure that if I held Micah I would be ready for another baby. I do love holding baby's but am certainly enjoying the babyness of our two toddlers for now!

Saturday morning was a washout weather wise but Grammie Pt, Auntie Laura and I headed to the Suffield plant sale/May Market and made the most of it. The afternoon cleared and we had a great visit and also a wonderful treat as Auntie Laura treated all of the girls to pedicures for Mother's Day. I think it has been almost 3 years since I have enjoyed a pedicure so it was certainly a wonderful treat. The boys enjoyed the colored toes so it was a win, win situation!

Saturday afternoon we headed out for a brief walk on the bike trail in CT and along the way I was super lucky and found 17 four leaf clovers and 1 five leaf clover all in a matter of about 30 minutes... So, if anyone needs good luck sent their way, let me know! I was certainly on a roll! Are five leaf clovers still considered good luck?

Today Mike and I had nursery duty at church. It was a full house and the kids were keeping us busy but it was fun as usual. We headed home and then off to Grammie and Dziadz Pt's for a Mother's Day dinner. We had a great afternoon and the boys had a blast showing off their new walking skills to Grammie, Dziadz, Auntie Laura and GG Mimi.

Tomorrow we look forward to a fun day at playschool followed by a visit from Grammie & Grandpa Hopkins and hopefully some baby time at the hospital with the Chotkowski's!

I hope that everyone is as lucky as I am to have such an amazing Mom and Mother-in-law. They mean the world to us and they set the bar high for the mother that I strive to be. Their love, support and giving hearts are to be admired. We are truly SO blessed!

PS - Mike folded the laundry for me tonight for Mother's Day.. yippee!!!

You are always crazy good at finding 4-leaf clovers. Hopefully they bring you luck!
