The boys are very into playing "pretend" and we can often be found having family parades around the house at night... sounds and all!

Chris takes his job seriously as a fireman!

We call this the tractor hat and Aiden can't resist anything with the word "tractor" in it!

This morning was certainly a surprise to wake up to thunder, lightening and flashes of power outages. Thankfully the power decided to stay on and the rain cleared up! I stopped following the weather a while back as it only got me irritated every time they were wrong... a daily occurance!

The week is flying by and I am not complaining one bit! This may likely be my last post for a week or so until we return from Maine. I am not sure about the internet access there but I am sure we will have tons of beach pictures and stories that we will be anxious to share upon our return. 4 days and counting!

Monday was a laborsome, super productive Labor Day... not what most people would look forward to but I am unlike most and was very excited. Grammie and Dziadz Pt came to watch Aiden and Chris for the day and Mike and I spent the later morning, afternoon and early evening working outside around the house, catching up from our last 6 months of neglect. Our bushes are trimmed, firewood is cut, split and stacked and the house is looking a bit neater, well from the outside at least! Is there any such thing as a "neat" house with two 18 month olds that have a different idea of "neat?"

Grammie and Dziad took the boys to Farm Fest in Suffield on Monday and from the stories, it sounds like they all had a ball. Small town fun and great joy for little boys who LOVE tractors! They enjoyed the sights and sounds of the fields, farm, tractors and fried dough! Yum.... The boys were in their glory with great company and great entertainment and Mike and I were thrilled to be able to clean up the yard before the cold weather hits!

We also had a brief but fun visit with our friends Adam and Gina who stopped over on Monday with their "tractor, aka large truck. Chris was fascinated!

Tuesday morning we had a fun surprise seeing our cousin Whit while we were out for our daily walk. Chris undoubtable had a huge crush as he beemed from the moment she acknowledged him and stopped to say hi. Whitney headed back to CA yesterday so it was nice to have a brief but fun visit on the sidewalks of Suffield.

Tuesday Grammie Hopkins came to see the boys and I went to run some errands and grocery shopping. Its so nice having that jump start to get out and about on my own. Aiden and Chris had fun with Grammie and I now have lots of snacks and goodies for vaca!

Tuesday afternoon our old OT and friend, Karli came for a visit. It was so nice to see her and so nice to catch up! She was recently married and brought pictures to share and was excited to hear about Aiden and Chris's progress. She is so much fun and is so incredible with the boys!

Today we had such a fun visit with Kym and Connor Sylvestre. My crazy monkeys ran around while I enjoyed catching up and seeing them again. It was the boys first playdate and we hope for many more in the future! What a fun morning!
