So yes, there is one extra pic of Chris and in trying to be fair/even, I usually try to post equal pics but the pics of Chris perfectly captured the faces he makes so I couldn't resist!

This is such a Chris look - had to share!

Aiden caught in the act of "monkeying around!"

Chris grinning as he thinks to himself, "you know I'm cute so you can't get too too mad!" (please don't mind or notice the dirty window behind him - its never dirty at my house, haha!)

I know that most agree that September arrived all to quickly! While I love the fall, I am not looking forward to the wintry cold days that will soon follow. Humm... what to do when we are stuck inside all day long? Think I can teach the boys to knit with me?!?

Tomorrow is an exciting day for us as we will be taking Chris for his first feeding evaluation at CT Children's Medical Center. I am hoping this will help alleviate our current dreaded feeding experiences for all parties involved. Grammie Hopkins will be coming over to keep our buddy Aiden company while Chris gets some one on one or rather three on one as Mike, myself and the feeding team spend some time together. In the meantime, I have stayed busy doing my 9 pages of evaluations and reporting for Chris. We're talking essay format too! That's more work than some term papers I did in college!

So the heat is here and so is the sweat and sluggishness that comes with it... at least for me! We had a wonderful visit with Aunt Patti, Uncle Carl and Mary on Monday night. Chris decided that bedtimes were overrated so he stayed up late to entertain and enjoy the one on one! Nap times have been disappointing lately and I am hoping we will get out of this sleepless phase soon and very soon!

Grammie Hopkins came for a visit on Tuesday and I took advantage of my morning out to run errands. I have to admit that I am selfishly excited that kids are back to school because the stores will be less crowded and the buses provide great entertainment on our morning walks. It is a win, win for me right now... that is until it's MY kiddos getting onto the bus! Then September will tearfully arrive for me.

Mike has been working later this week to catch up and prepare for our vacation in two weeks. We can't wait! Maine here we come! I am taking advantage of a little road trip with my friend Leeanne tonight and am excited for our Labor Day weekend plans. I will be sure to report back on tomorrows visit for Chris.

Stay cool!!!! We are headed out to enjoy one last swim for the season with our friends Mathieu and Caroline. Time to beat the heat!
