Sorry, a weekend away from the boys didn't leave me with very many new picture updates! You can see below that there isn't much need for food when you have so many tractors and trucks on your plate at meals! (Chris, top and Aiden, bottom)

What a special weekend! We had gorgeous weather and a wonderful opportunity to catch up on chores and relax while Aiden and Chris vacationed at Grammie and Dziadzu Pt's house. Mike and I got take out, watched movies and I even got breakfast in bed this morning! A & C had a blast and there is no doubt that they were spoiled. Grammie and Dziadz even brought them back to us tonight with smiles on their faces but the boys however seemed less than pleased to be home and quickly caught a case of the grumps. So aside from the great weather, I was thrilled to get outside for two hikes with Mike. These warms days are numbered so I also took advantage of being able to scrub, clean, wash and hang things outside to dry. I think I may possibly stand a chance at having a spot on the TV show "Dirty Jobs" after cleaning off the boys highchairs. Really, how can two little tike's make such a nasty, nasty mess? I was also able to wash all of the floors, do a ton of cleaning, baking and cooking and get the house in "hostable" condition for Thanksgiving. I am very excited to have everyone over this year and just hope that we have enough place settings so we don't have to resort to classy paper goods!

I think the funniest story that Grammie and Dziadz shared was that Christopher was very busy during his nap time yesterday at this house and decided to be a big helper and removed the drawer knobs on the bureau that was next to the pack and play that he was supposed to be sleeping in. I guess you can say that he is resourceful and/or self entertained?

We also had a great end of the week. We had a fun play date on Thursday with our friends the Ryan's and the Tetreault's. Aiden and Chris enjoyed sharing their toys with their friend Elliot and were totally taken by baby Emme and baby Ashley. When they see babies in books now, they say "Emme," so thank you Karen for using a name that is so easy to say! It was nice to have the chance to catch up with the Momma's and nice to have company to make the afternoon fly by!

Friday morning I was super thrilled to have a visit from my friend from Umass, Paula and her husband, gary and two grandkids. The kids played awesome together! The boys were shy at first but quickly took a liking to Gary. By the time the get together was over, Aiden and Liam (who is one day younger than A & C) were cute little buddies and Chris was asking for "more" of them as soon as they headed out the door. It was a long drive for Paula but I was so thankful to catch up and very much enjoyed seeing her and visiting.

Friday night Grammie and Grandpa Hopkins came for a visit to get in some Aiden and Chris time. They brought a delicious meal and A & C were quite the entertainers. They were very busy little boys, running circles around the house dressed up as doggies and time spent not running around, was spent "hiding!" We all had a great time visiting and watching the little guys until it was their bedtime.

Tomorrow is the first and last day of playschool for the week. I am not sure why but apparently Suffield doesn't have school at the end of this week? Uggh.. I am hoping that rain holds off so we can at least get outside! Here's to a new week and many new adventures!
