Our special PT. tree

Strike a pose - Chris, top and Aiden, bottom

Everyday dress up with fireman, Aiden.

That jolly old soul in red is not Santa, it's Christopher!

Half naked dancing on Grammie Pt's birthday present.

The ring leader, Chris.

Chris (top) and Aiden (bottom) are very busy at work decorating Grammie's birthday master piece.

I was hopeful for a clean bill of health at this point in the week but so far, no luck! Aiden and Chris has been champs, fighting stuffy noses and a bit of a lingering cough but of course not without complaining and needing some extra TLC and LOTS of Momma time. SO, it has been a week of nothing but cuddling and laying low so far.

We brought home our own Charlie Brown Christmas tree from my parents on Sunday night. For safety sake, we are keeping the Christmas decorations at a minimum this year. As in, our "special" tree outside on the back porch with some lights and a few other things spread throughout the house. To make our tree even more "special," half of the lights on the set went out today - I guess we will temporarily have the ghetto tree in Suffield. Now that Aiden and Chris can say "light," they are really enjoying the tree, even only half lite!

Grammie Hopkins did come over yesterday which helped keep me sane as we haven't left the house outside of that adventure.

The boys are still actively interested in trying to learn new words. Yesterday they learned "onion," "up" and a new high pitch shrill. Lucky me!

As the holiday activities begin this weekend I am hoping that by laying low, we will be healthy enough to participate or else we will have a VERY long weekend ahead!

My favorite story from this week is an Aiden tale. When Mike gets home from work, play time revs up to a whole new level. Usually involving running, screaming and someone getting hurt. Don't worry, no one got hurt this time! So, Mike came home from work and gave Chris a piggy back. I was sitting on the floor at the time. Aiden snuck up behind me, put his hands around my neck, hopped on my back and gave out a good old pig snort...For anyone thats heard his pig immitation, he means business! I guess his version of requesting a piggy back. Resourceful if you ask me and yes, his request worked of course!
