Humm, should I chose red of blue for my tractor. Christopher and the big debate.

Aiden is hard at work to create the perfecf tractor.

Aiden's enjoying his cheerio bracelet.

Chris: Only my brother can make me smile like this!

I can say that I honestly enjoyed the snow this weekend. It was a beautiful snow - it stayed on the trees and was enough to cover the ground, yet light enough to be able to shovel and not enough to keep you stuck inside. That's my kind of storm!

We had two "firsts" this weekend. The first being a cooked magnet. Yes, cooked as in it made its way into our oven without our knowledge... well, until we smelled the burning plastic that is. Thanks boys for using your curiosity to keep us on our toes! Our other first was when I woke Saturday morning to find our dish detergent tablets in the fridge. There were many "milk Momma" moments earlier in the boys infancy but this was a Daddy moment and I take no credit that for special new storage spot. I guess Mike is also trying to keep me on my toes!

Thursday we had a low key day at home. It had been a cranky week so I was a bit hesitant to schedule too much. Mike attempted to get some work done from home so in trying to give him some quiet time, I brought the boys for the first library trip. It was a first and a last for a while at least. As you can imagine, books were off the shelves in no time and A & C took an interest in heading in opposite directions. We successfully killed an hour then headed home.

Uncle Andrew came to visit on Thursday night. Aiden and Chris were excited to see him and have been working on saying his name since.

Friday night we were excited to have our friends Adam and Gina come for dinner. It had been way too long and we really enjoyed catching up. They came fully loaded with wonderful surprises that kept the boys busy for the night and again the following morning. Thanks for the entertainment Adam and Gina!

Saturday we had our friends Pat, Suzy, Sophie, April and Jenna over for lunch and some play time. The boys were shy at first but warmed up and were asking for "more friends" after their nap. Again it has been far too long since we had seen the Schillings so it was fun to catch up and see the kiddos interacting.

Later Saturday we went to visit our friends the Tetreault's for dinner. They had some awesome new toys that the boys happily enjoyed. They were also very taken by the two babies that were there, Ashley and Emme Ryan. They went home saying "baby" all night and have since been continuing to practice saying the girls names. I think they may have a slight crush but we can't complain since both come from such great families. Elliot Ryan was also a hit as they boys were holding hands and hugging before the night was over.

It's always so nice to see your friends kids become your kids friends.

It was off to church this morning and Mike and I were on nursery duty. It's been an afternoon of catching up, laundry and chores and I am excited to have a quiet night. I am hopeful that I will get to enjoy some birthday planning for the boys and maybe sneak in some time to play with my new Cricuit paper cutter that I got for Christmas and am in LOVE with. The ads are no joke when they say that the possibilities are endless! So many wonderful projects, too little time!
On another funny note, the boys have learned the meaning of time outs as they have been using them on their plastic dinos when they get fresh and start to "bite." Its funny to see them trying to discipline.
Another story worth sharing is that Santa's spirit continues to live on in our house. Mike was getting ready for work Friday morning the boys were watching his every move. As they watched Daddy cover his face with shaving cream, they laughed and said "ho ho ho." All day long they said "Dadda ho ho ho." So innocent!
