Potty Parade

Hard to see but check out Aidens shiner.

Chris loves his diaper time!

Aidens eye up close and personal. This is one week after his accident too!

The water level behind our house has NEVER been this high.... Keeping our fingers crossed that it stays out of our basement!

Its all fun and games when you're two!

Cuddly Chris

  • Is it just me or is that bitter chill out of the air? I no longer find myself wanting to layer like 6 sweaters! Yeah spring!
  • Something super special: A & C both did their first dribble in the little potty! No, we're not potty training but they were playing on Tuesday night and were both able to sneak out a dribble to get a treat! Oh what a treat it will be for Mike and I when we no longer have to change diapers. Yes, it will be months but I say hooray at the thought of it! I think maybe we'll start once the weather gets warmer and it's acceptable to walk around without pants!
  • I had to laugh when Mike came home from work last week and while Mike and I carried on a conversation, Aiden loudly repeated "Mike, Mike, Mike…" I guess he has learned how to get Daddy's attention efficiently. Mike then asked "what's Mommy's name?" and Chris said "Beth." Kids don't miss a beat…
  • Mathieu is back to good health and taught the boys some French on Monday. They echoed as he said "coo coo (equivalent to peak a boo)" while playing hide and seek. They continued to echo long after they left. So cute.
  • I am so thankful for my mother in laws weekly visit… they continue to keep me sane and give me something to look forward to. Nothing beats a couple of hours to yourself!
  • Separation anxiety has reared its ugly head again in our household. Please go away…
  • I have been hearing stories about baby Ashley and "Chow (Calvin)" all morning since they left. It's so nice to have something to look forward to every Wednesday!
  • We look forward to time with friends and Grammie and Dziadzu tomorrow. Daddys gone over night so we are going to make the most of it! We'll keep you posted.
