High Five

Chris is a great Daddy to his two "baby Ollie doggies."

And of course, Aiden has an "Ollie" too that he is wonderful to.

Today they wanted to make sure that they were all wrapped up like babies. Hence, the tight rolled blankets. These are 3 lucky doggies!

Rain, rain go away. We are READY for vacation and were hoping to get a lot of yard work done before we left but we need to see some sunshine for this to be possible! In light of the fact that I love to create more work for myself whenever possible, I have a long list of cleaning and organizing projects to do before we leave for RI so I am going to keep my post brief.

My favorite thing said today from Chris to Aiden "He's my buddy." They truly are two of a kind and the best of buds. Life is good when you have a dependable buddy and partner in crime.

My least favorite over used saying "Mommy go back to work." It's their attempt to be hurtful when they're mad. I guess it could be worse.

A & C love to get creative with their story telling, otherwise known as fibbing. Yes, they love to make up tales. For example, yesterday when putting them down for bed, they said "Mommy, Daddy said we don't need to go to sleep." Me "Mike, did you say that?" Mike "Nope." Chris "Yes Daddy say that." Hummm... we have a conflict. Aiden "Daddy give me 5 treats for going potty." Me "Mike, did you give Aiden 5 treats for going potty?" Mike "Umm. nope." Humm... we have a conflict here. I think we're in trouble... they are already trying to "work" us at age 2 :)

They boys love to run around naked and of course the potty training is making this possible 9 days out of 10. Lucky boys... Lucky me that it is summer and this is an option!

The boys had their very first trip to Friendlies this week with Mamie and Auntie Sarah. They are still talking about the milk shakes that they enjoyed! What a treat!

We had a fun playdate with Calvin this morning and are excited to see baby Ashley tomorrow. In the mean, I am off to clean, pack, organize and do what I do best... keep myself busy with self created projects :)

I am not sure how our internet access will be while we are away, so stay tuned and don't be surprised if you don't hear from us for a while. It's a good thing. Maybe I'm even relaxing :)

PS - Am I crazy for wanting to have my house spic and span when I leave for vacation? It seems like such a waste of time yet I can't stand the thought of coming home to a house that already needs cleaning!
