Should we be scared if Chris got himself dressed and said he was "ready for work?" He's got one easy going employer!
Aiden and Chris have taken it upon themselves to become the latest and greatest hair stylists. Not sure where they get that from as neither Mike nor I spend more than 2 minutes on our hair each day. Needless to say, as usual, they are getting creative. Last week is was diaper rash creme (obtained from climbing their bureau's which are now BOLTED to their walls), last night, milk. Who would have guessed that milk could try to a sticky, nasty enough consistency that it could make Aiden look like Albert Einstein. They are inventive. For as much as I long to document and take pictures of these "oh so special" moments, I hesitate for fear that it will feed into the much sought after attention. So, no pictures, just the ever lasting hysterical one in my mind. Even Chris was laughing at the ridiculousness of Aiden's hair.
Our week picked up after we were able to "cure" Chris's rash. Wednesday night Grammie and Dziadzu came for a visit. The boys love being loved on!
Thursday we had a great day with baby Ashley. If only all babies were as wonderful as her, I might be ready for a dozen if that were the case! (Back to reality, we have two hellions to occupy our interests for the time being).
Friday we were thrilled to meet Mommy's friends Leeanne and Leora for a sticky and hot but enjoyable walk along the CT river followed by some play time for A & C... well until the rain found us!
Yesterday Mike gave me a wonderful start to the day and treated the boys to donuts at Mrs. Murphy's while I got some time to myself. SOOO enjoyed! After attempted and failed naps, we packed up and headed to Grandpa's to visit he and Auntie Steph. The boys loved their tractor rides with Grandpa, swimming time and play time with Auntie Stephie.
Today we were honored to witness Mike's Uncle Dave being baptised. What a great occasion and much of the family was there to celebrate! After much needed naps, we packed up and headed to Sunrise Park for a super duper day with the Schillings. The boys loved the water and loved having playmates and special older friends. It was great to catch up and have many of my twin questions answered. I received some much needed advice! So nice to have such special friends.
