Hurricane Irene came and went with a lot of hype, wind, rain and time spend indoors but we aren't complaining because the weather that has followed and is to come is perfect beach weather! Aiden and Chris are loving the Maine waters and beaches despite the fridged temps and numbing nature. We've been having no problems relaxing as A & C have been pretty self occupied racing their dump trucks up and down the beach. I have to admit that I am SHOCKED that the boys have been playing hard ALL day and are still managing to stay awake until 10 pm! I guess they know it's vacation!

Uncle Dan arrived yesterday from Florida and the boys were warmed up to him in no time. We're ready for another gorgeous beach day so I'm off to get ready!
