Oh to be two years old and think that you know everything about everything and far more than your Mommy and Daddy.  We’re in that phase… and I hope it passes quickly!

Monday I journeyed back to my Dr.’s for a re-evaluation of my poison ivy as it was continuing to make surprise appearances in all new places.  She renewed my prednisone and I think I can say that I may finally be on the rebound.  Woo hoo!  My two little bosses, Aiden and Chris joined me and truly did a great job. They were so well behaved and received the highest compliments from the nurse and Dr.  Of course they saved the melt downs for the car ride home but I’ll take that any day.  We ran a few other errands and headed to Wendy’s for Frostys.  I was thrilled that the rain decided to stay clear and we enjoyed an afternoon of fresh air and outdoor play. Grammie Pt. and Dziadzu came after work so that Mike and I could attend a preschool open house.  I am really excited about the possibility for the boys and it is certainly up for consideration this September.  When I told Aiden where we were going, he said “going to school makes me feel sad.”  I have to agree and am happy that I have months to adjust to the idea if we move forward.

Tuesday Mike and I headed to work and Aiden and Chris spent the day at Mamie’s house.  They were thrilled to see Grandpa at lunch and enjoyed working on a new puzzle and of course a bit of doggie harassment. Sierra and Sammy are such good sports with them! We are again so thankful for this arrangement and Mamie’s help each week.

This morning I was excited to head to the Hartford Children’s Museum with our friends Calvin and Megan.  It had been a few weeks since we had the kiddos together so it was a lot of fun.  The boys all loved the animals, legos, flight simulators and real jeep.  It was the perfect way to start a rainy day!

We headed home to meet our furnace cleaner then headed out to meet the Ryan’s newest addition, little Mr. Oliver.  He is amazingly adorable and perfect in everyway.  I enjoyed my baby fit and brief snuggle time and so thrilled that they have welcomed such a wonderful little guy into their family! We are also excited for the Swanson family who welcomed their 4th baby this week, Macie Joy. There are babies in the air and I am excited to enjoy every one of them!

Here is something kind of fun for anyone that may enjoy entertaining and Martha Stewart.  Check out this link for a free copy of her Thanksgiving hotline recipes.  I might just have some new baking  to experiment with this week!
