Isn’t this weather simply a.m.a.z.i.n.g ????  I think I may be addicted to being outdoors! And what a week for school vacation. What is not to love about 80 degree sunshiny days?

Monday we packed up and headed out to Northwest Park to meet up with 7 Mommies and their kiddos.  We had a blast and it was so fun to be such a big group.  It felt like everywhere we turned there was a familiar smiling face and of course lots to catch up on!  I brought my camera but it never made it out of my purse.  Oops.

Today was a work day but life is good when you and your hubby can sneak out to the grassy hill across from work for a picnic lunch in the height of the day.  Truth be told, I had what seemed to be a great idea to park out bottoms across the street for lunch rather than walking to the park.  It just so happens that grassy hill belonged to a church and one with a very loud bell that chimed just as we sat down to relax.  Not once, but 12 times!  Can you guess what time it was?

Aiden and Chris had an awesome day with Mamie.  They enjoyed lunch at the Summer House and same home with their spirits high and energy levels higher!  I guess that further confirms that they are indeed my children.  Chris is very into performing new “tricks”.  He has perfected his head stand and is quite proud!  Aiden is very into his lego constructions.  He takes his work seriously and is always working on creating something new. They love to propose questions about anything and everything and repeat themselves again and again.  Maybe they just like to hear their own voices?  Can’t blame them as they are awfully cute little men voices!  We pulled out some summer clothes and boy oh boy do they look tall in leggy in their shorts.  Hopkins builds for sure. Chris continues to be the comedian and talker.  Aiden is the leader but seems to enjoy watching Chris and the reactions that he receives. Can you be both a leader and observer? They are such little men; dirt lovers; adventure seekers; attention grabbers but all the while little lovers at heart. We think they are pretty a.m.a.z.i.n.g!
