We are coming down off our weekend high as we had a continuous birthday bash celebration. The fun started with relatives who arrived and visited for Grandpa Hopkins surprise 60th Birthday! We partied in style at Auntie Laura’s birthday celebration Saturday in Belchertown and Grandpa’s surprise party in Southwick on Sunday. It was a weekend of companionship, laughter and many, many calories.
I wish that I could say that we had more pictures as proof but I was slacking and had more fun people watching.
Backing it up a bit, we had a fun time fishing super early Thursday morning. The Congamond Lake excursion was a success with well over 5 fish caught! Grandpa, Daddy and the boys had a blast and I tagged along.
We headed out shortly after for the boys first movie theater experience with the Ryan Family and had a blast. The kiddos all did well and thankfully, the front row seating served us well for the kiddos busy feet during the movie Happy Feet.
We also snuck in a visit with Grandma Tess’s who was doing well and handled our busy boys well. We hope to scoot over to visit her again soon.
I loved these tractors all lined up in a row in Suffield with American flags hanging proudly. And yes, I am one of those crazy ladies who randomly pulls over on the side of the road to take a picture like this! A & C loved it and that’s one of the many things that I love about them. They think my randomness is pretty cool… for now at least!
