It’s funny because as I lay awake, not sleeping at night {a new emerging theme}, I always think of great things to share on the blog. The only problem is that by the time I sit down, days later, I can’t remember anything for the life of me!
This week marks the start of my 28th week and third trimester! Yippee! There is something reassuring about making it to the third trimester. Sure, there’s plenty to worry about and always will be {especially if you’re anything like me} but the baby grows and develops so much each week now that the thought of his making an early appearance becomes a bit easier to fathom {although I certainly don’t wish for it!} I received good news this week that I passed the first glucose test. Whooo hoo! I am beyond happy as I didn’t want to sit through the 3 hour follow up that I had to with A & C. My iron levels are low so I am going to pick up a supplement but that’s easy enough. My belly is growing quickly and the nursery is coming together… finally. Tuesday we go for an ultrasound to determine if placenta previa is going to be a concern going forward and I am very excited to see him and to find out how he’s positioned.
Aiden and Chris have become men with very inquisitive minds. The average 5 minute car ride is likely to include a peppering of at least 30 questions. If it’s not one asking, it’s the other. It’s great and I love their curiosity but is it possible to run out of questions or answers???? We may find out!
We had a great end to our week and weekend. Dziadzu came for a visit on Thursday and I was thrilled to head out to run some errands and head for a dental cleaning. Aiden and Chris truly enjoyed his company and had many stories to tell following his visit. They love their grandparents x 4 for sure {and so do we}!
Have you looked at the weather for the week ahead? It looks amazing! I can’t wait for the sunshine and tiny bit of warmth! Here’s to a warmer week ahead!
PS – My camera still isn’t uploading… Ughh! I have new pictures… I do… I do. I guess I’m off to trouble shoot!

Glad to hear baby boy is growing so well and is staying put. I'm also glad the weather is warming up a bit for you guys. Single digits is way too cold.
