Since I skipped out on Wednesday’s “normal” post, I figured I would make it up with two for fun today!
How far along? 38 weeks and feeling “ready!”
Total weight gain/loss: 20 pounds and finding it hard to put on my socks and shoes.
Maternity clothes? Still sweatpants round the clock. I’ve got quite a collection of clothes that I’ve ruined in keeping my belly well moisturized so I rotate between those gems and can’t way to THROW THEM OUT!
Stretch marks? So far so good. Hoping I can say the same when he finally arrives.
Best moment this week: Spending April vacation week with my two favorite little men. It’s been fun and was the perfect way to spend some time together before our little guy arrives.
Miss anything: Sleep at night. I know it will be a long time before I experience that again but 3-4 bathroom visits nightly combined with being awake from 1-3 am for the last 3 nights makes me wish I at least had a baby to keep me company!
Movement: The feeling of “movement has changed as the weeks have progressed. I now feel larger movements as you kick or punch your way around my belly.
Food cravings: Still enjoying sliced oranges and still feeling ready to combust at any given moment. Without much room left, I ‘m not much fun when it comes to eating.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Queasy in the morning again. Breakfast holds no appeal.
Have you started to show yet: Large and in charge! I am oh so thankful for the longer style shirts that are now in the stores as it makes for many more options. Maternity clothes (or at least the affordable ones are mostly less than cute if you ask me)
Labor Signs: He’s been quiet last week but saving it all for this weekend I guess.
Belly Button in or out? As out as it gets.
Wedding rings on or off? On {when I remember!}
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy until I make myself nervous about the reality of the impending labor process at which time I get nervous and edgy.
Looking forward to: Meeting our little man and experiencing a normal labor and delivery {fingers crossed!}

So exciting! I remember those nightly bathroom visits. The worst. Enjoy him safe and sound in there. While I don't want to be pregnant I do miss having the Es and O in my belly (just sometimes).
