Nine is the number of the week. After “celebrating” or perhaps I should say remembering {lets be serious… once you have kids you no longer celebrate the you things because it’s all about them… and rightfully so!} that it’s been 9 years since Mike proposed, this week we also celebrate our youngest turning 9 months old. Nine months. He has been with us just as long as I carried him in my womb, excited to meet him and learn who he would be and what each and every tiny little feature would look like. Perfection I tell ya!
I love your not so quiet groaning and grunting noises you are guaranteed to make as you unwind and relax before falling asleep. It reminds me that being a baby isn’t as easy as it seems and we all need to take time to settle down. It reminds me that I am oh so blessed {even when these visits may be in the wee hours of the morning} to have you. To be called Mom. To have three perfect little men who although they may not verbalize it, depend on Mike and I to be their everything. Boy, that’s a lot of pressure but an awful lot of joy! You’ve shown us love in all new ways and we look forward to each and every special milestone that still lies ahead. You’re growing up fast little man and although I can’t slow time, I can soak it all in and know that each moment passes all too soon but each moment is a gift and you are our special treasure. We love you Jacob. May you continue to be a light of joy to everyone around you!
