Convinced winter was behind us, this little morning artic blast came as a surprise! Aiden and Chris’s first day of spring vacation and the very last day of March and we’re looking out the window at a beautiful winter snowy covered wonderland. What better day than today as we are home and in our PJ’s…. my car in the garage for a tune up and nothing on our agenda. {Okay, maybe a slight bit of hope that we can do some spring cleaning and sort and organize the boys room a bit!}
Oh and this day, five years ago was Aiden and Chris’s actual due date. We might just have to celebrate just for fun with some homemade goodness. I guess even with a birthday at the tail end of March, they might not escape the snow that visits on their birthday E.V.E.R.Y single year! And another neat fact, my sister in law was due with my identical twin nieces two years ago today {Although they also blessed us by arriving two weeks early!} Weird, huh?!?
Below is an excited but worried Momma after finding out we were there to stay, a proud soon to be Daddy on his way into the OR for the last time without kiddos and an anxious Grammie, Dziadzu and Auntie, at Baystate awaiting the news of the babies arrival!
And some of our first visitors once we were settle back home as a new family of four…. {Confession, my computer crashed shortly after the boys were born…. so those favorite early photos are stored somewhere so safe and special that I can’t find them without deep digging…. uggh…}
Just look at those little babes, just shy of five pounds and now grown into five year old little men!
PS – Was there really a time when they just snuggled and sat still? I’m having trouble remembering!
