My big boys are obsessed with games. They could play Uno, Skip Bo and Trouble allllllll day loooooong! It’s times like this that make me thankful that they have each other because while I too like games, I play once and have my fill. They are also super star bike riders. We have been sneaking out early and finding new places to ride. WithOUT training wheels! They are even getting fancy, jumping off sidewalks, riding through grass and going down hills. In a matter of weeks their confidence has soared and they couldn’t be happier with themselves.
We been spending most of our days exploring. There are so many great paths and trails around us and we’ve got lots of energy to burn. Seems like a match made in heaven, right? I think so! Any place with dirt, mud, bugs ,frogs and natures collectables is heaven in their eyes.
Jake continues to try to keep up with the big boys every step of the way. He climbs like he’s five yet listens like he’s one. He’s getting picky about the foods he eats and has learn that throwing food off his tray will quickly get our attention.
He runs… everywhere.
He climbs… on everything
He loves to read but hates to sit.
Anything that moves and makes a loud noise is labeled a “vacuum.”
These boys keep us on the hustle but make us oh so thankful for the dynamics they each add to our family. We’ve got some characters on our hands and of course the challenges that come with raising kids but at the end of the day we wouldn’t want it any other way!
