Week one

Week one is in the books.  Tomorrow is the start of the first full week of school and their first official Monday as Kindergarteners.  Dork I am for continuing to make note of all of the little firsts, they just come and go all too quickly.

And, speaking of coming and going all too quickly, our time with Uncle Danny has slipped away.  Tomorrow he heads back to the sunshine state with plans to return for the holidays and hopefully a dose of good old new england snow.  And while we enjoyed him for several days, it never seems to feel like enough.  Aiden and Chris are old enough now that they fall right back into the swing of having him as a playmate/buddy from the moment the door bell rings.  Jacob warms up quickly but still needs to size him up before feeling at ease. Uncle Danny came, he played and he loved on the boys.  It was a quick but awesome week and we’re sad to see him go.  I snuck in a few pictures from this weekend but my camera doesn’t want to cooperate so stay tuned.

Aside from sneaking visits with Uncle Danny, Grammie and Dziadzu, we also enjoyed the local festivities of Suffield on the Green on Saturday afternoon and our first Six Flags trip today both of which were super hits with all three kiddos.  Heck, what’s not to love about sunshine and new adventures?

{And yes, I DO think the little boy behind Jake and I was caught on camera picking his nose.  Lucky parents of his….}

And while we’re talking about sunshine and adventures… check out the new, third floor {in the making} on the boys tree house retreat!

And of course, the little man trying to keep up with the bigs…

That tree house is amazing!! I've been dreaming about a tree house for the kids; alas, I don't think the palm trees will support one.
