My big boys turned six just over a month ago. I am still adjusting to the notion that I have two-six year olds and an almost 2 year old. Wowzers.
My biggest big boy, Aiden is smart as a whip. He’s a thinker and a questioner. For better or for worse, he doesn’t resist challenging anything and everything. He’s strong willed and excelling in school. He’s been recommended for excelled math. He loves to read and despite the fact I now never have a quiet car ride, he is reading EVERYTHING in the world around him. He’s independent. He’s creative and crafty. He loves to be outside and isn’t turned off by frigid temps or hot steamy days. He’s hard working and smart with money. He’s responsible and respectable. He’s thoughtful and loving. He adores those that make him feel adored. He talks about his extended family constantly. He loves anticipation but gets giddy when it comes to secrets or surprises. He’s the leader of my pack of cubs and couldn’t make me any prouder.
At his six year old check up he weighed in at 40.8 pounds (18%). He’s 44 inches (21%) and his BMI is in the 31st% (Don’t be deceived by the number. It’s his %, not his actual BMI #!) He’s tall, skinny and as handsome as they come.
And Chris. I often refer to him as my middle child. As ironic as it is, he takes on so many character traits of such a role. He’s a talker and a thinker. He’s a giggling and a jokester. He’s always scheming. He loves to make everyone around him happy. He’s Jake’s greatest helper {but subject to change at any given moment} and our families greatest sharer. He loves to push his limits and has perfected how to annoy every family member, working it as he needs to. He loves for all things to be fair. He is a busy body, always on the go and always ready for an adventure. He gets wrapped up in every TV show he’s allowed to indulge in. His energy is endless and his enthusiasm is contagious. He’s creative and smart and was also recommended for an excelled math program. He enjoys reading but doesn’t typically like to take the time to sit still long enough. He loves games and has a great mind for understanding. He loves big and reminds us each night as he goes to bed. His favorite saying is “I love you so so so so so so so…… much. How many “so’s” was that?” He’s a social butterfly, saying hello to each kid we pass in the community and telling me how he knows them. He makes us all oh so proud.
And at six, he’s a tiny little guy. He’s 38.4 pound (8%), 44 inches tall and in the 7th% for BMI. This handsome little package has Dziadzu’s genes and that makes him excited!
