Well hello! I am back and finally almost done with my course for work! I have 6 dreaded hours of cold calling to complete and I will officially have the designation AREP (Accredited Real Estate professional). The course was amazing…. So worthwhile! I am excited to have lots of fun ideas to add to my business in the months and years to come. The 3 “M’s” held down the fort, Mike and our Moms, taking care of Jake and making each day special which made this transition SO much easier. Sarah, Jerry, Rose and Ivy have been living with Mamie and Grandpa in Southwick while they have some renovations done on their new house and it’s been so great getting to see them more often. Jake LOVES this big cousins and I’m pretty confident that the feeling is mutual.
With lots of homework and plenty to practice, I am excited to be able to sneak in some “play” time at night once the kids are in bed. My projects have been collecting and with the holidays around the corner, I have so many fun crafts to dive into.
The boys are doing great! Aiden and Chris are loving soccer and sad that the season is wrapping up in a few weeks. Aiden scored his first goal last weekend and was proud as can be. Chris continues to be busy on the field and both are such good defends and fast little players.
Chris lost his second tooth (bottom, middle tooth) last week in the middle of the night. The rumor has it that it was just too wiggly so he couldn’t sleep. He was pleased with the tooth fairies visit as she honored his request and let him keep his tooth and also left a dollar bill and a Susan B Anthony half dollar coin.
Aiden and Chris have been spending lots of time exploring the woods with Jake never far behind. We’ve been trying to sneak out for a family hike one night and are loving these amazing temperatures and views. Can you believe how early it gets dark now?!? I found myself digging out my hairdryer for the first time in almost a year because these mornings are getting too cold for wet hair!
Jake is just Jake. Always eager to entertain and never without something to say. He is in love with excavators and all things construction. Skipping nap twice this week is making me nervous…. I’m not sure I’m ready for long days without naps! We’re staying busy in an attempt to wear him down and crossing my fingers for another year of naps.
Cheers to another great weekend ahead!
