Things are going well. Last time I weighed myself I had gained another 3 pounds so I am hoping that the babies are growing and its not just holiday treats going to my hips :) Mike and I are taking a Marvelous Multiples class through Baystate. Today was our first class and we both had a great time. The teacher is a nurse at Baystate and also a mother of twins. She went over some good information and it was a great chance to meet other couples also having twins. There were 6 couples in our class, all around our age which is neat. Only one couple already has a child - the others are all first time parents. The couple that we sat next to is 28 weeks like us so it was neat to compare our experiences and the changes that we have been experiencing over the last few weeks. Of the 6 couples there, 3 are having boys, 2 girls and one is too early on to know the gender. We are the only ones in the class having identical twins.
I will soon have new nursery pictures to post. Grandpa Dave came over Saturday to help Mike fix and hang the closet doors. Now they just need some paint and minor adjustments to the hinges. Mike painted the bureau for the nursery so I am free to fill it up at any point and am very much looking forward to that. We also went on a road trip and bought french doors, the one final touch needed for the nursery. The french doors still need to be painted and hung but it is great to have them ready and waiting to be installed! Our hallway is still a mess. We are in the process of getting some quotes on what it would cost to have them installed and refinished. The project turned out to be more involved then we had hoped but Mike has been a good sport about learning what he can and using the internet as a resource whenever possible. It will be GREAT to have that project finished so the dust in the house can cease!
The BEST news of the day is that I was able to have a turkey grinder! I have been craving a turkey grinder for a few weeks now but knew that you weren't supposed to eat deli meat when you are pregnant. We learned in class today that as long as the meat is heated, you are safe to eat it. Needless to say, it was a matter of hours before Mike and I were eating a toasty, delicious turkey grinder for dinner.... the power of persuasion!

I love your updates, I think pregnancy is so interesting with just one baby nevermind two! I'm glad you are liking your class, it sounds really helpful. When is your baby shower? I know you had a surprise one already.
Happy New Year!
Hey Jess! Thank you for all of the messages that you leave us! I can't believe how big Will is getting. It makes me nervous about how quickly the boys are going to grow and they aren't even here yet!
Carol, my Mother in Law is having a shower for me this Sunday and my mom is having one the following Sunday. We have so much support from our families which is awesome!!!! Miss you!
