What a gorgeous weekend! It was the perfect blend of total sunshine with limited bugs. Mike, the boys and I decided to get outside yesterday to enjoy the tease of summer while it lasts. We packed up early afternoon and headed to Robinson State Park in Agawam with lunch in tow. We arrived at the park around 11 am and were surprised that there weren't more visitors but we were thrilled to have a close parking spot and a beautiful paved bike path to walk along. We went for an hour walk and the boys slept most of the time. Our game plan was to feed them, then eat ourselves after the walk. We got off to a great start and set up an umbrella in the shade with two beach chairs and began feeding the boys. Despite the bees flying all around us, the day seemed perfect. You may be guessing that we had a run in with the bees but luckily thats not the case. Just as the boys were just finishing their bottles and Mike and I were formulating a plan to keep them kosher so that we could enjoy lunch ourselves, and to my surprise I felt something wet and warm. Looking down, I realized that I had been blessed by a wonderful surprise from Christopher. He was covered in poop and so was I! Lucky for him, we came fully equipt with an extra diaper and outfit and within minutes he was clean and comfortable. I on the otherhand got to ride home in the heat of the day, covered in this prize... Needless to say, I'm not sure who had it worse!

Last night Mike and I were lucky again to be able to get out for a night on the town. Our idea of a night on the town now consists of a quick dinner and many erands. Grammie and Dziadz Pt came to watch the boys for the night while Mike and I spent some time alone. It was a great break for us and the boys loved their visit.

Today the boys and I took a trip to Belchertown and spent some more time with Grammie and Dziadz Pt and GG (Great Grandma) Mimi. Mike was able to get some peace and quiet so that he could work on his final paper for this last class! Yeah! This May Mike will get his PMBA which has been a long journey and a chapter that I am thrilled to close, especially with the arrival of the boys. We had a great visit and Mike said he had a really productive afternoon so it was a win win situation.

There weren't any notable advances, but the daily smiles, coo's and utter amazement at the world around them continue to keep Mike and I on cloud 9!

This week were welcomed visits by: Grammie and Dziad Pt., Grampa Hopkins, Auntie Laura, Auntie Steph, Jackie, Kym, Paula, Aunt Betsy, Cousin Eileen, Leeanne, & GG Mimi.
