The boys modeling their new Gap sweatshirts... pretty sad weather for a summer day!
Aidens look of concern when he realized he was being bundled up on an August day
Christopher all dressed up and looking like a stud!
We were sad to wake up to a cold, rainy day but even sadder to find that the leaves are already falling off of the trees! What happened to the summer? Recalling Augusts of the past, there haven't been many (or any!) where I can remember having to wear sweatshirts and long pants all day long. The only good thing that came out of today's weather was that I was able to take a pretty cute picture of the boys looking like little men in their new Gap sweatshirts that we received when they were born.
Since I posted later than normal last week, I have fewer days to report on. We had a great day on Friday. Grammie Hopkins and Auntie Steph stopped over for a visit. The boys were their jolly selves and loved the company. Later Friday night, Auntie Laura watched Chris and Aiden by herself for the first time. She did great and said that the boys behaved themselves as well. Kudos's to Auntie! Mike and I went to dinner with Mike's boss, Peter and his wife, Joanne. We truly enjoyed their company and some adult conversation!
Saturday was a productive day outside for Mike. Grammie & Dziadz Pt. came over for the morning and afternoon. Grammie helped me entertain the boys while Mike and Dzaidz did some outdoor chores that had been looming over Mike's head. Mike was thrilled to finally cross somethings off of his "to-do" list and the boys and I loved our time with Grammie. Auntie Laura left for Oregon for vacation for the week so we will have a quiet week on our own and we wish Auntie a safe and fun trip!
We had a long night last night with one of the boys (we won't mention any names) so thankfully today was a quiet day. Both Mike and I got several chores done and enjoyed some quiet family time.
We have a busy week ahead and as always hope and look forward to good weather!
Our visitors this week were: Auntie Laura, Tommy, Auntie Steph, Grammie Hopkins, Grammie Pt., Dziadz Pt.
