What incredible weather we have been having! Aiden, Chris and I checked out two new walking locations at the end of last week. On Thursday we met our friends Caroline and Mathieu at Forest Park in Springfield. We had a great walk although the weather was less than perfect. It was a cool, fall morning and when we were as far from our cars as we could have been, the skies opened up and the rain decided to make a guest appearance. We made the best of it, covered our boys and managed to dry off by the time we made it back to our cars. I guess thats what happens when you walk 5+ miles! You get the chance to build up a sweat, cool off with some rain then dry off when the sun reappears! The park was ideal for walking and I am very excited to bring the boys back next year when they are old enough to apprecaite it a bit more!

On Friday we went for a walk with our friends Jennifer and Georgianna. We checked out the new bike path in Southwick, MA. We had fun checking out the new trail and managed to pick a perfect day for a walk! The weather couldn't have been better and the boys were great sports, dealing with a mom who could have walked all day but settled for an hour and a half walk :)

This weekend we had a great time celebrating Leora & Joe's wedding. The weather was super rainy but we had good friends, good food and good conversation so who could ask for more! We also visited with Grammie & Grampa Hopkins and the boys met Aunt Sandy & their cousin Lee for the first time! We had a fun visit and snuck in a walk today with the hopes of getting the boys to sleep but they had better plans of staying awake to ensure that they didn't miss a thing! Other exciting weekend news includes mine and Mike's first run together in a VERY long time! We went for a two mile run together today with the boys. We are thinking... key word thinking... about entering a race on Thanksgiving Day that is 5 miles so the training would have to begin now. I guess we shall see!
