So I have to admit that I am very frustrated. I spent 45 minutes blogging between Sunday and Monday and had several new pictures to post and lost all of my work and was a bit discouraged! Auto save wasn't working apparently and the computer timed out and logged me off... bummer!

So here it is, take three...

Could it get any better??? The warm weather is here (and so are the bugs now!) and life if full of so many special moments with all of the people that we love!

Mike decided to make his Memorial Day weekend super long and took a vacation day from work on Friday. I wasn't complaining and neither were Aiden and Chris! Dziadz Pt. came over early Friday morning and put in a full day of gardening with Mike while I kept the boys entertained. All of Dziadz's hard work had paid off and we are SO grateful to have our first garden planted this year! We used this weekend to get all of our plants in the ground and we are ready to rock and roll. As an early anniversary present, my parents got us blueberry bushes and built us awesome raised beds. We are so excited to have our own veggie garden. I will post a picture once we having growing veggies!

On Saturday we spent the afternoon at my parents but also enjoyed the company of Mikes family since they joined us there too! The boys were in their glory, having both sides of the family to show off for and as you can guess, they were eating up all of the attention. They ran, played and entertained all day long and Chris even managed to stay awake until 8 pm, entertaining us our whole ride home. I don't know how they get their energy! We enjoyed delicious good, unbeatable company and awesome weather. I was totally spoiled having a second birthday celebration but I certainly enjoyed every minute of it!

On Sunday we went to church in the morning then had a fantastic treat out to The Federal Restaurant in Agawam, Ma. Grammie Tag invite the entire extended family to join her and some of her special friends for a lunch that was to die for! The food was delicious and as always, I overate but enjoyed every bite. This was also super special because it was Aiden and Chris's first time out to a restaurant and a very special one at that! What a treat! They enjoyed the mashed potatoes, bacon and of course the desserts! They are learning to have good tastes from a young age. This was again another day for the boys to be the center of everything as they quickly moved around the room from one relative to the next. They LOVED seeing all of the aunts, uncles and cousins and loved having free roam of the private room that we had. It was a great time for all of us!

Yesterday we celebrated Memorial Day with some friends. Our friends the Fishers came over for a visit in the morning. Audrey is a few months older than the boys and it was a riot watching her and how busy she is, seeing where the boys will be by the fall. I also got to meet their latest addition, Micah for the first time. He is as cute as can be and 100% boy! Oh how I love babies!

In the afternoon we met up with some of our friends from church for an awesome picnic at Salmon Brook Park. There were tons of kids and plenty of activities to keep them happy. The boys were delighted with the swings and also enjoyed some time in the chilly water in the brook. We headed home for naps and while the boys napped, Mike and I surprised them with a blow up pool in the backyard. We never appreciated just how uneven our backyard was until we found that our four foot pool has a "deep end" (1 foot) and a shallow end (no water!). The water was straight from the hose and as you can imagine, quite chilly! I was in the shallow end enjoying the sunshine while Aiden and Chris eventually warmed up and braved the cold water to use some of their beach toys.

Following our fun afternoon, we had awesome company for dinner as we had Adam and Gina over. The boys were shy at first but quickly warmed up. It was so nice to relax on the porch and enjoy great company, perfect weather and of course, more good food! Chris and Aiden spent their last waking hour showing off for Adam and Gina, running around and causing trouble.

What a weekend! It is back to our regular week today and this is our first week without play school so we shall see if we are all sane by Saturday! Until then, Happy Belated Memorial Day and thank you to all of the brave men and women that serve our country so fearlessly everyday!
