The grin says it all - Chris boycotting his morning nap to enjoy some one on one time with Mommy!

Aiden: All really is quiet at the end of the day!

T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!!! Aka Christopher

Aiden - Literally his eyes are as big as saucers!

Yeah!!! Today Mike and I celebrate three wonderful years of marriage and had a cold drink with dinner to celebrate that our wedding day was not nearly as HOT as today! Phew! It is amazing how long ago our special day seems yet at the same time, it is remarkable how quickly time passes. Happy Anniversary to my best friend and life long partner in crime - I love you Mike!

Beating the heat this week has been easy thanks to our AC that has been cranking around the clock! We actually had a mini power outage early this week as I forgot that you can't have everything in the entire house running at the same time as the AC is in full speed. Ooops! Thank you to who ever invented these wonderful, lifesaving devices! Quite literally, I was actually afraid of melting this week! I still ventured out for my early morning runs and the boys and I still braved the stagnant air for some Suffield sight seeing before the sun got too hot. Exercising is such a great way to get our day started!

Since I was late to post at the end of last week, this post should be short and sweet. Tuesday Grammie Hopkins came over to spend some time with A & C. They LOVE their Grammie and love hearing her voice when she walks in, as do I as it is Momma's morning out! This week I managed to quick visit to Manchester to drop off the lunch that Mike forgot and navigated my way around the town to get my weekly errands done there. It was a great change of pace. Later Tuesday afternoon, Grammie visit "Take 2" happened as Grammie Pt and Uncle Dan came to watch the boys. I had a routine appointment so the boys were in good hands and great spirits with more visitors yesterday afternoon. What could be better than family visiting for most of the day.. certainly a treat for all of us!

Today Grammie Hopkins and Auntie Sarah came for a visit! The boys were quick to show Auntie there new tricks and didn't miss a beat in showing off! Grandpa Hopkins also came over and Mike and I went out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. What a treat! We came home to a quiet house and two tired, sleeping toddlers! We are truly so blessed to have such amazing, supportive families that we are able to see as often as we do - we love you guys!

Totally off topic but.... although the heat may not be making me insane, I am going CRAZY because I can not find our camcorder for the life of me. Mike and I have literally turned the house upside and looked in every funky nook and cranny that we could think of and with no luck. Uggh! This mission impossible is driving me nut, so if anyone comes across the camcorder elves/thieves please send them to 2 Cain Street to make this Momma sane again!
