Grandpa Hopkins reading to Chris (L) and Aiden (R) on Saturday night. They love their new Thomas the Train book!
Hi I'm Aiden and I'm TWO!
This is Christopher, AKA "Bob-O" They love Bob the Builder and attempt to fix everything around our house just like Bob-O.
Chris looking all sweet and innocent.
Chris must have saved all of his "Cheese's" for home because he wasn't sharing any with the photographer at Target!
Hello my name is Chris and I am trouble!
Yes, I am off of my "usual" posting schedule. I apologize for not posting for a week and a half... YIKES! I don't think, as a matter of fact, I know that I have never gone that long. Shame on me! I do have an excuse. Most that know me know that I have an awful tooth history And so the saga continues.... I got an infection last week that led to super, duper pain, strong pain killers and an antibiotic that made me sick. I think I would have rather birthed triplets. It would have been easier and the pain and nausia would have been over sooner. I am on a new antibiotic now with three days to go and I CAN NOT wait to feel like myself again! Nausia and me do not mix. It is amazing how a tooth, being one of the smallest things in your mouth can cause so much bad luck and bad health.
Humm... back tracking for a quick review..... The beginning of last week was great. We had an awesome play date with our friends Kym, baby Connor, Heather and baby Madison. Aiden and Chris were on a baby kick Monday afternoon after seeing two babies all at one time! We appreciate the long drive that they made to visit and I was thrilled to catch up with such wonderful friends and have such fun company. Monday afternoon we headed to the JCC for some indoor gym time with our friends Mathieu and Caroline. The boys had a blast and were even making new friends there! Tuesday Mammie came early so that we could attempt to beat the snow but it was a quick, slippy trip out and back. Wednesday we were snowed in and Thursday I was off to the dentist. The story of my life! Thursday night I had a fun shopping trip with my friend, Leeanne. Friday Grammie and Dziadzu Pt came to save the day as I was a total slug, feeling awful and not much fun. (Correction - NO fun!) We were bummed to cancel our trip to Yankee Candle with them but I think it was a smart decision for me to stay off the road with all of the drugs I was on :)Saturday Mammie and Grandpa Hopkins came for a visit and stayed to watch A & C while Mike and I snuck out for a few hours to go to a surprise 30th Birthday for our friend Keith. We had a great time but came back early to avoid the slippery, icy roads. Sunday I was a total slug and was sick as a dog. Grandpa Hopkins came for a visit and helped with A & C while I did nothing all day long.... I can't stand days like that!
We have cleared our schedule all week as I am still not feeling great and have 3 more days of antibiotics and A & C also have the start of some kind of cold. I am looking forward to being social again and really can not stand myself as I have so much I want to do and no motivation. I can not stand to sit still any longer!
Thank you to those that read my blog regularly and called/texted/emailed with concern. We are all okay and hopefully on our way to better health and a better weekend ahead!
PS - WOW!!!! One week from today Aiden and Chris will be TWO... Really? TWO!
PPS - Cute story. The new words and names are flowing like water around our house. We aim for at least one new word a day. Today we got one of our first phrases! "Excuse you!" As uttered by Aiden after Christopher burped and farted. It was too funny because I guess I say that often without even thinking and now I have a little mimic :)He also says "Excuse you" after he too burps or farts.
