Grandpa Hopkins in his awesome bunny hat! What a great sport he is :)

My review and pictures for this week have come in bits and pieces and today in no order at all but I guess that's how we've been getting through our week.
Easter was awesome! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Monday seemed to slip by as Grammie and Dziadzu came to pick up A & C in the early afternoon while I of course kept myself busy by getting nervous about my tooth procedure later that day. I wasn't able to eat and of course all that I could think about was food so by the time the appointment rolled around, I was ready! (little did I know my only options for the next 2 weeks would be soft, mushy foods!)Mike was my chofeur and from what he says, I was quite entertaining from the medicine they gave me. We were very lucky in that Grammie & Dziadzu kept A & C over night Monday and through the day Tuesday. The boys had a blast - 1000x more fun than they would have had with a mommy on Vicadin! Uncle Dan's flight back to FL last night was postponed so we were lucky enough to be able to visit with him for a few more hours! We weren't going to complain but poor Uncle Dan had a late night.
This morning we met up with Baby Ashley & Calvin (and of course their Mommies) at the Granby Senior Center for an open play time followed by a kids guitar/sing along. We had a blast and although A & C didn't get to the music, they played shy and stayed glued to my lap the entire time!
Over the past few weeks the boys have been talking up a storm. I love seeing them so deep in thought as they try to form sentences. Communication is easier but at the same time, their frustration for not getting their way seems to have escalated. Their new "silly" word is "Doopa" which in Polish means buttocks. They crack themselves up using it. We tend to ignore it as I'm not sure I want it repeated in public. One of my favorite misunderstandings is when they say "ocean" which can easily be mistaken for "OH Sh-t!" And like little men they love to respond when asked if they would like something with "nope, all set." No more babies in this household!
