Projects!

Chris and his yummy dessert.
Aiden says "Now what is Chris doing?"
Chris's final project
And of course Aiden had to follow suite.... I guess at least we can be happy that it was chocolate pudding and nothing else :)

We were thrilled to have such nice weather on Thursday and headed outside to enjoy it! Baby Ashley joined us and we had another great day. She is such a little sweetie! When Daddy got home from work, we started our much needed mulching project and borrowed Dziadzu's truck to bring home and spread our first truck load (of probably 4 or 5!) The boys were great helpers and really impressed me with their interest and willingness to help out. We spend a bit of the afternoon weeding and I couldn't have asked for better helpers! They were rewarded with a later bedtime so no one was complaining!

Friday was another gorgeous day outside with more gardening and lots of worm hunting. I have two great hunters and helpers on my hands. We did another load of mulch before our friends Adam and Gina came and brought us dinner! We had delicious soup and wonderful company. The boys were thrilled to have someone new to tease and Mike and I were happy to catch up with them and happy to have visitors!

Saturday we were up and rolling bright and early and returned Dziadzu's truck (with a brief hello!) before heading to visit our friends Kym, Ross and baby Connor at their new house. We had a great visit and they were such good sports about having two-two year olds to tear up their house! We enjoyed our time with them and headed home with the hopes of long naps in the car. Naps happened but length wasn't part of their plan. We decided to stay busy when we got home and we headed to Home Depot. Busy is good when you have two over tired kiddos. We are starting a new project in our living room which I will share with you when it is finished.. hopefully soon so stay tuned!

Today we headed out for another Home Depot run. The boys lucked out and receive Home Depot kid's aprons from one of their employees. Lucky ducks! We loaded up and headed home and worked some more. I am addicted and loving having a project that the whole family can work on together. I am thrilled to have learned to use several of Mikes saws and love his workshop. I wonder if he would mind if I painted or decorated a bit? J So fun! I am now Mommy Bob-O as the boys like to call Bob the Builder. We'll keep you posted but for now, it's back to our project.
