Ahh, another great weekend too good to come to a close! The rain surprised us and stayed away and for that, we had an extra skip in our step.
We were thrilled to be invited to join our friends Caroline, Rob and Mathieu at the Children's Museum in W. Hartford on Saturday morning. We escaped the early morning rain and found something to entertain the boys for 3 hours! I was able to convince Mike to let me sneak into Trader Joe's on the way home since my trips there are rare as it is a bit of a drive. We headed home and enjoyed a quiet afternoon at home, going for a walk, catching up on chores and relaxing.
This morning we headed out bright and early. Aiden and Chris got to hang out with Grammie and Dziadzu while Mike and I took a road trip to Worcester to visit Laura and Eric who shared a new (to us!) washer and dryer. Our washer and dryer came with our house and may be as old as we are.... no, seriously! And trust us, that IS old! I am so excited to have newer, clean appliances that will work everytime. It's the little things that make me happy. Thanks, Laura! We snuck in a quick visit and had the chance to see what they have been working on at Eric's house. Aiden and Chris loved their time in Belchertown and were sad when we returned home mid-day to wisk them away. The boys watched some football and I got some cleaning done and we were all happy campers. Oh how we love our weekends!
Now off for more fun this week....
