Flipper

 

Meet Flipper, Aiden’s first “catch!” Talk about a proud experience and one happy little boy and right in the comforts of our backyard!  A true score as it only took about 10 stolen earthworms to finally snag the one and only prized fish. 

It’s summer and we are in full swing, staying busy and enjoying the gorgeous weather!  Thursday and Friday we stayed busy and enjoyed play dates with Mathieu and baby Alex; Ashley, Dylan, Julia, Annie & Charlotte and had an awesome time celebrating Calvin’s third birthday at My Gym in West Hartford. We also had a visit from Auntie Sarah, Mamie, Rose and Ivy.  We love those baby girls and Aiden and Chris are never shy about showing off for Mamie and Auntie.  Lots of giggles and energy burned.

We were thrilled to wake up early Saturday, enjoying the sand and sun on the CT River with our friends the Locke’s.  We are lucky that they so willingly share their family and amazing boat.  The kiddos always look forward to playing and there’s never a lull in the conversation for the adults.  We headed home, did a few chores, put the kiddos down for bed and enjoyed an awesome game night with Keith and Juliet who were good sports to spend the day with us!  Loved every minute of it!

Today we had nursery duty and headed home to our kiddy pool and a lazy afternoon of fishing and playing.  The best kind of days.

Five year ago I said “I Do.”  Today I say “I still do and forever will.” Five years ago, I started the best part of the rest of my life and today I am enjoying the journey.  7.7.12  I love you, Mike.  Happy Anniversary!

Tonight our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to the Ptaszynski Family legendary kitty, Crammer.  He was the world’s best cat and best buddy to everyone who met him. Crammer, you will be missed and will forever have two best buddies, Aiden and Chris (as well as about 5 stuffed “Crammers” of our own in your well deserved honor.)
