We’ve been away…. But we are back, refreshed and ready to begin count downs until our next vacation. We spent a week with the extended Hopkins family in beautiful Westerly, RI. The weather was ideal. Rain the first and last day and nothing but sunshine and blue skies sandwiched in between. “Wallhalla,” the “castle” we stayed in was amazing. Full of old charm, beautiful gardens and amazing details. There is no better feeling than being surrounded by family. If only we could make vacation a permanent arrangement. The harsh reality of settling back into our normal routine came way too soon but we are blessed to have enjoyed an amazing week.
One small mishap with a split noggin for Mister Chris but thankfully he is well on his way to healing. What 3 year old can resist jumping from bed to bed when you have three mattresses lined up in a row. It was all too inviting for our little guy and unfortunately his head was not fond of the corner of the bureau drawer that it stumbled upon. Lesson learned.
