3.5

This has been a week of challenge.  Challenge is good… it makes you stronger, right?  Well maybe not when its making you insane in the process!  While I soooo enjoyed my weekend away and would do it again in a heartbeat it is always tough to get back into the swing of things.  For me, the challenge being work.  And to be more specific Microsoft Office or lack there of… It’s been a week of do’s and re-do’s and many a deep sighs and late nights on my computer {thankfully I work for my husband} and I am going to just leave it at that.  Tomorrow is Friday and today was the start of my “weekend” so onto bigger and better and we’ve got lots of “betters” planned!
The “betters” started with an early play date at the park that was long over due with some amazing friends. Is this weather incredible of what?  We experienced a MAJOR meltdown but I guess that’s what three is all about and again, on to bigger and better.   Still so nice to be out, enjoying the breeze, sunshine and lift in humidity.
We came home for lunch with intentions of running a long list of errands but to be quite frank it was just too darn nice outside.  There aren’t many days of perfection and today is on my list.  The boys delighted in playing in the driveway and after our morning meltdown I wasn’t so sure I was going to brave the trip anyway.
Today marks a special day – the boys are 3 1/2.  Special for me because we are half way through the 3’s and I am holding onto the hope of truth in the rumors we’ve heard that 4 brings a bit more sanity.  Whoopee….. And yes, we are celebrating!  Who could pass up an opportunity to make your little men happy with some cupcake baking and delicious dessert to get you through the day.  I am IN!
Here they are… my normal, happy, sometimes difficult 3 1/2 year olds enjoying their “little” birthday cupcakes as they called it.  {Please don’t think less of me for the chocolate frosting covering their teeth.. I promised they brushed well tonight!}
