I might be slightly insane. 8 degrees outside yesterday and I was getting my groove on, walking while the boys were in school. It was bitter and I’m not quite sure that I’ve dethawed yet…. It seems as if every where I go the cold air chases me. Even our closets feel remarkable chilly. I guess that’s what layering is for and truth be told, I had the one million calorie infamous orange glucose drink yesterday morning and wasn’t feeling it. As the tech handed me the dreaded bottle she snickered saying “bon appetite.” It’s done and for that I am thankful. Still no results. A good sign? Maybe?
So week 27 has arrived. I am most anxious for next week when we will have our next appointment, ultrasound and find out if the placenta previa is still an issue. Fingers crossed. I can’t complain. I feel great. Tight, yes and anxious, yes. Scary that the boys arrived only 6 weeks from this point. I think I am mentally preparing myself just in case and will be so pleasantly surprised and grateful for each week that we gain with this little one tucked warm inside. It’s the best place to be during the cold winter months, right? Anyone know any baby whisperers that can cue little man in? I still have yet to post nursery pictures. It’s still a work in progress so I’ll wait for the final reveal. Get excited! Okay, not too excited. It’s neutral, very neutral. I am feeling very indecisive with this pregnancy and struggling to make any design decisions. Mike could care less {a good thing and a bad thing}, hence I am not making any progress. It will be first on my list once the boys birthday has passed.
I do have new pictures this week but my camera and computer have decided that they don’t want to be compatible tonight. They’re coming, I promise. The boys have had a great week. It was soooo nice having Monday off. Mike was home and we enjoyed family PJ time alll…. day….. long…… I think it’s been since early November so it was a good change of pace.
Yesterday Mamie treated the boys to lunch and they headed to her house to play. They were overjoyed to find a new surprise of Thomas train tracks. What a treat! They haven’t stopped playing with them sense and are busy bees. I am a happy Momma! I spent much of my time catching up on work and felt good starting my week on a good note, thank you Mamie!
Today we laid low and stayed warm (if that’s possible?) The boys are excited to have Dziadzu over tomorrow to play while I head out to a dental cleaning. Another welcomed change of pace in our day for all of us {okay, minus the cleaning}! Happy Wednesday everyone! Stay toasty!
