Pictures of my handsome 4 year olds….

I am ever so thankful to my dear friend Heather who gave up time with her family on Sunday to spend time with mine.  She captured some great memories for us with some awesome pictures to celebrate the boys turning 4.  Without further ado…. (and more to share soon….)

And here are the pictures I promised of the final details of the nursery.

To the far left are the pictures of the crib.  I had a quilt that I loved but didn’t have a perfect place for so with a snip here and a snip there, I used the fabric to make a bumper and plan to use the remaining fabric to cover a rocker.  The bed skirt is a repurposed twin bed skirt that I cut up, added a middle layer of white fabric to give it some length and sewed it all back together.

The pictures to the far right are my re-done bureau/changing table.  I sanded down the face of the drawers, stenciled the numbers, taped out two small stripes on each drawer and chose a navy colored paint. I put a top coat of stain to pull in some of the brown tones in the room and I’m pleased with the change.
