22 Months

 

This little doobie is two months shy of two.  So hard to believe as he is so full of spunk and style and so ready to be turning six in his mind at least.  We are finally down to one nap a day and it feels freeing.  Jake likes his sleep and while we have many nights where he likes to visit, he’s sleeping 7 pm – 5:30/6 am and goes down easily.  He naps from 12:30-2:30 and loves his naps except when his brothers are home.  He eats and eats and eats.  It’s safe to say that food is the way to his heart.  Chocolate and cheese more specifically.  You can no longer sneak any food and anything you plan to consume must be shared.  He loves his fruits and shy's away from meats.  He has one heck of a sweet tooth (not sure where that came from, wink, wink….) and he’s such a busy body.  He is a mover and a shaker.  A climber and a dare devil.  Curious and fearless.  Reckless and full of fun.  His favorite words are no, Dziadzu & Cali.  His favorite item is his blue stuffed puppy blanket and pacifier that he is allowed only for bedtime and when he’s sick. You can negotiate successfully with him if and only if it involves candy.  Aside from food, he loves babies, animals, tractors, Elmo, Curious George and Thomas the Train.  He can get his brothers to do just about anything for him and I might add Mike and I to that list as well.  Spoiled?  I’d say do!  Loved?  Undoubtedly!
