What a wonderful surprise!

Today Uncle Dan surprised all of us with a visit, leaving behind the warm Tampa weather.  Aiden and Christopher really seemed to love their uncle and Dan got to hold his first 4 pound baby and was also a good sport about feeding Aiden.  Uncle Dan also promised them a trip to Disney World for their 5th Birthday - we are still working on writing up the contract :) What a wonderful, unexpected surprise!

The boys are still doing well.  Aiden is finally back up to his birth weight of 4.5 pounds and Christopher is still a skinny mini and lost 2 grams last night.  We met with the nutritionist today and she recommended that we add a small amount of human milk fortifier to their breast milk to give them a boost. These supplements were started this afternoon so we are hoping that this will be a small step in the right direction.  Both boys fed well with bottles today which was exciting and we are still waiting to see their jaundice improve so that we can get them home ASAP!  We look forward to getting up bright and early to see them again tomorrow.  It is amazing how you can miss them like crazy after just only an hour, never mind a full night!  Looking forward to another baby fix tomorrow!
