Rainy days are for sleeping, right? Christoper (top) & Aiden (bottom) are taking advantage of a rainy afternoon!
Mike will kill me but I have to share this story. Being the super amazing, hands on dad that Mike is, I absolutely loved and appreciated his "milk brain dad" story from him trip. After Mikes arrival home yesterday, we caught up, he checked out the boys and he told me that he had a story that would make me feel better. While on his trip, Mike had to attend a conference. Before leaving, he double checked his suitcase and together we went over his packing list before enjoying his last night home. Thursday morning, Mike got up and ready to start his day, getting dressed for his conference. Heading out the door, he put on his shoes and realized that they "felt funny." Looking down, he noticed that he was wearing two left shoes! Oops! After a quick trip to Macy's, Mike went on with his day and a new pair of shoes! To even the playing field, I should also admit that I now have a language of my own, making up new words daily, mostly combining two words. I think it may be my secret attempt to try to save time by condensing my words. I was also laughing at myself when after being spit on up and going to change my top, I realized that I was wearing my shirt backwards. Who knew that if you wear your shirt backwards, you get a second chance at wearing a clean shirt by simply putting the shirt on with the tags in the back - it's an amazing concept!
This coming week will be one full of Dr.'s appointments. Wednesday morning we will be at Baystate bright and early for the boys circumcision appointments. The boys are scheduled for 45 minutes each but we have been told that the procedure takes much less time. Assuming that the procedure goes well, the boys then have their six week physical in the afternoon with their peditrician. Thursday the boys have follow up eye exams so we'll hope for a quick and easy week with good results!
