As the week comes to a close and most are anxious for the weekend and the Fourth of July holiday I have to admit that I may be going against the crowd with my feelings and excitment for a long weekend. Of course I LOVE the weekends but this one if a bit different as next week starts a new life for our family.
Mike was offered and accepted a new position working at Northeast Brokerage out of Manchester, CT. We are excited but nervous about the change. It will certainly be a new challenge for Mike and for our family as he settles into a new job and as a famiyl as settle into a routine again. As I mentioned previously, I am also starting back next week so it will be a double whammy and changes across the board.
Despite my many appointments that have kept my calendar full this week our major excitement was to see Uncle Dan who came in yesterday afternoon from Tampa, FL for a visit. Dan was up in April for a long weekend at Easter time but is able to stay for a week! We are thrilled that he will be able to see the boys during this fun, interactive stage in their lives. As a matter of fact, Uncle Dan will be babysitting for the boys for the first time with Dziadz later this morning as I head to another dentist appointment in Belchertown... my second this week! I joke around, yet am serious when I say that the boys would be much better off if they never get teeth and can stick with just their gums for the rest of their lives. Mine and Mikes dental histories leave a lot to be desired!!!
Last night we had a great visit and welcoming for Uncle Dan and we made grilled pizzas... yummy! Grammie, Dziad, Auntie Laura & Uncle Dan joined us! Auntie Laura has now been living with us for half a week. Things are going well and she has been a great help with the boys. We always glady accept an extra set of hands! Her job is off to a great start and seems like it is going to keep her really challenged!
I have a video of the boys which I will post ASAP... maybe later today!

Beth and Mike-
First Congratulations on the new job, Mike! Best of luck!
And Beth, we are truly looking forward to having you back next week.
In my experience, it has always been a sign of good things to come, whenever all the major changes seem to be raining down on you at once.
In Valley-speak - the goddesses, stars, energies, and chakras are all aligning in support of you!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks Amy! We figure that everything happens for a reason, we just need to figure it out... maybe someday! We like valley speak and the thought that it is a sign of good things to come :)
We hope you enjoyed the Fourth!
