Our recent family pic. (Mike with Aiden and Beth with Chris)

I have a wonderful video from this weekend but I have had 8 unsuccessful attempts at posting it and the post keeps erroring out... so, I will keep trying so stayed tuned and keep your fingers crossed.

In preparation for Thanksgiving, Chris and Aiden got their first haircuts, well maybe hair trims! They wanted to look spiffy for all of their relatives on Thanksgiving so we trimmed their hair around their ears. Of course sitting still was not their idea of fun so it was quite a challenge but it was a success and they are now in tip top shape :)

Thanksgiving was a hit! We got up early, compliments of having babies and went for a pre-feast walk so that we could eat dessert (first, seconds and thirds) without any guilt. Everything pulled together wonderfully and we really enjoyed having our families together. The food was delicious and company couldn't have been better (unless Uncle Dan had joined of course!) It was also great to be home as it saved us the hassle of having to pack half of the house for a short visit. They boys were in their glory and were constantly accompanied/cuddled/spoiled by at least one adult at ALL times. I think everyone that was over for Thanksgiving jumped at the opportunity to scoop them up!

Chris and Aiden have been LOVING their time and freedom in their walkers. On Thanksgiving Day, they quickly learned how to maneuver their walkers to perform "drive bys." They would circle the house (hence the video I made this weekend), laughing and quickly locating the individuals around the dining room table that were willing to feed them "real" adult food as they drove by for a nibble. It was quite entertaining. They learned to hate turnips that were peppered with horse radish and learned to loved creamy mashed potatoes and butternut squash. They also had baby cheese puffs as their Thanksgiving treat and they couldn't have been happier. The experience quickly turned into a stuff your mouth with cheese puffs contest for them!

Mike had Friday off so we enjoyed a relaxing day. This year I decided to skip the Black Friday shopping experience and while the clock struck 5 am and I was home getting up with the boys, it felt weird but was SO nice to stay in comfy clothes enjoying my boys. Friday Aiden learned to make a great noise vibrating his lips and Chris learned to babble ma ma ma.... BIG steps!

Friday night, Grammie and Dziadz Pt came to help Auntie Laura babysit the boys while Mike and I went to my 10 year high school reunion. Yes, I am old! The reunion was at the Umass Campus Center. We had a great time, despite the fact that it was a LATE night and an early morning! It was so nice to catch up with old friends and classmates and to hear the latest and greatest of what people have been up to. Of course with Facebook, the whole "catching up" process was made so much easier!

Saturday morning we brought the boys for professional Christmas pictures. The pictures came out great and the boys were very good sports. Later in the day we were able to visit with Uncle Andrew who was home from school for the weekend and Auntie Laura's friend Laurie came for a visit. It was a busy but nice day.

Today went went to church and enjoyed the gorgeous weather by going for a walk. I am sad that the long weekend is over but looking forward to all of the other upcoming holiday festivities that we have!
