We have ha a great week. The weather couldn't be better and the boys are LOVING their time on the porch and in the sun!
The boys went to play school on Monday and did well but their reports said that they wanted to be held the whole time. I am guessing that they may have been coming off of their "holding high" as they had been spoiled the previous 3 days by loving relatives that attended to their every need over the Easter holiday.
Mike's official 30th Birthday was Monday but we had low key, relaxing night to celebrate. As a special surprise, Christopher walked all of the way across the screened porch unassisted! He was pretty occupied using the "popper" toy and didn't even realize what he was doing until he looked up but we are getting CLOSE to walking!
Grammie Hopkins came over yesterday morning and I took advantage of having a productive morning to myself. The boys loved her visit and she was even willing to come back for a second visit later in the afternoon to join us for a walk. I think that confirms that she is crazy about the boys!
Today the boys went to play school and did awesome. I was so proud as another mother went out of her way to comment on how well the boys did and how nicely they reacted to the students that worked with them. It meant a lot to hear that and our afternoon continued on nicely. We went out for a walk to enjoy the gorgeous weather and even set up a small pool for the boys on the deck. Aiden was the brave one that quickly scooted in and quickly scooted out!
New news: Our neighbors house is on the market. We welcome all friends and relatives to live next door! The house needsa lot of TLC but its 11.8 acres, $275,000!
Tomorrow the boys go for their one year follow up eye exam. Dziadz willing offered to lend a second set of hands and I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that tomorrowsa appointment isn't as barbaric as their first eye appointment. I will keep you posted!
