Sorry no new pictures. I am slacking. It was a busy week but my camera.. we'll I guess you can say that I gave it a mini vacation. I'll be back soon with more pictures.
I am just loving this sunshine and the smiles that it brings to Aiden and Chris's face. Let's keep it coming!
What crazy weather we had on Wednesday. I had exciting plans to celebrate my friend Leanne's birthday and had planned to head to Uno's by the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield. As you may be guessing, we cancelled due to the fact that every highway and road in that area was closed because of the crazy tornado's. In Ma, who would have guessed? Instead I ran to the grocery store for a few quick things and came home to enjoy some time with my boys.
Thursday we had a great day with Ashley. All three kiddos were in great moods and played so happily all day long. No complaints from me. I'll take a repeat of that day any and everyday!
Friday Aiden and Chris had the time of their lives as we headed to visit our friends Adam and Gina. The boys had fun seeing a world of big things at Gina's house. Big bucket loaders & big dogs! Life is good. We then headed to visit Adam at the greenhouse where the boys got to plant some flowers, ride on tractors, throw stones into the river, see big equipment, ride on bikes and so much more. They were in heaven! The morning got even better when Gina brought us all to the Somer's Fire Department to meet real fireman and see real fire trucks up close! A & C got to "touch and feel" the hoses and trucks and were in their glory. SO much to see and too much to absorb. Are they spoiled or what? Such lucky little boys.
After nap on Friday, their day of wonder continued as Dziadzu came for a visit! A & C loved playing outside and showing off for Dziadzu. They always have big plans for his visits and love to have him push them on the swings, play with their outdoor gear in the driveway and go for walks up and down the street.
To top off a really special day, we brought the boys to a carnival in Enfield when Mike got home from work. They were fascinated by the carousel but weren't too sure about riding it. They did attempt a bouncy house but didn't love it. Chris got a doggie paint on his face; Aiden a green truck. This was a first for them! They both also picked out water and ice cream sundaes as their treats. After a very special, long day we headed home for bed.
Saturday Mike played in a charity golf tournament. I headed out early to run a few errands before he left and I spent the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful sunshine with A & C. What a day! Uncle Andrew and Melissa stopped by to visit later at night and Mike and I really enjoyed catching up with them while watching the Bruins lose. Bummer!
Today Mike braved church alone with A & C while I enjoyed a ladies day out with my mom and sister as part of my special extended birthday celebration. What a day of relaxation and fun! We started our morning with pedicures, followed by some shopping, lunch and more shopping. It was so nice to have no schedule and to be in such great company. I had a blast with my favorite ladies and enjoyed spending my birthday money. I know I sound like a broken record, but I know that its safe to say that I truly have the BEST family and friends ever. Like we're talking a 20 on a scale of 1-10! :) Love you guys
PS- We wish a wonderful 30th Birthday to Leeanne and Happy, Happy 1st Birthday to Connor!
