Hearing the pitter patter of frozen rain against the window is not exactly what you’d expect for the middle of April.  How about a small dusting of snow to wake up to on April 16th?  This must be New England’s way of welcoming Uncle Danny who’s arriving from Florida late tonight.  Hopefully he brings some sunshine with him!  It’s easy to take when you see sunny skies and warmer temps in the forecast ahead!

So, here’s a glimpse at the sequence of bathroom re-do’s and do-over’s.  I’m much more pleased with the third color choice and have packed up my paint brushes and declared it’s good enough! (and yes, my final color is quite similar to the original color… look closely; very closely and you might just notice that it’s a bit less green and a bit more grayish/tan.  I guess it’s a good thing that I never disliked the color!)

We’ve got our flower boxes filled with pansies, veggie garden growing sturdier everyday and lots of fun prep for a special weekend with Easter and first birthday fun.  Yes, that’s right.  FIRST birthday fun!  Today was the last day of Jake’;s life that was totally “new.”  From this day forward, each day will no longer be a first.  Can you believe it’s been a year?  Oh and by the way, our little man is now sleeping 1 2 hours at night!  Yes, you heard that right!  In bed by 6:15 and sleeping until right around 6.  Score for Mike and I!
