Life seems to be in overdrive but all in good ways.
We had a great weekend. Busy but great. We celebrated Dziadzu and GG’s birthdays in Belchertown and had the chance to visit with everyone, including my very sweet, very cuddly little nephew.
Aiden and Chris had their first soccer scrimmage on Saturday morning and we squeezed in as many chores as possible, trying to play catch up from previous weekends away. I ran a few errands and went grocery shopping with Jake. We cleaned our roof, trimmed our scrubs, started replacing our retaining wall, painted a long overdue bureau and mirror {4 coats!}, took out the AC’s and tried to keep up with the general weekly cleaning jobs both inside and out. Today being the ultimate fall weather, we snuck out for a family hike around Sunrise Park. The leaves seem to be behind those already changing at our house but the view was gorgeous and the weather, just perfect.
These days can’t seem to be long enough but after an eventful morning at church working in the nursery, a staff procedures meeting, hiking and some of the chores mentioned above, I think we will all sleep well, looking forward to renewed energy tomorrow!
Happy, happy birthday Dziadzu and next week to GG! oxo
Happy start of the week! I have to admit that I’m anxious for Friday to arrive
