Officially seven

These boys of mine are officially seven.. SEVEN!  Most days I can't remember life before being a mom yet it seems like just yesterday we found out that our lives would be blessed by TWO miracles.  The advice of so many parents of twins usually involved the magic that happened around age two. Potty training, less sleep deprivation and more independence.  At the time, we anxiously awaited those sought after freedoms and today find ourselves longing for those early days.  How did they grow up so quick?!?

My boys are smart, kind, funny, sassy and full of trouble.  Honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way.  Aiden and Chris both love spending time with their friends, playing sports, playing video games and creating with legos.  Aiden's a big Patriots fan and Chris, the Red Sox.  They love school, love to read and have done phenomenally on all benchmarks and standardized tests.  They make us proud each and every day.

With an abbreviated school break, they had Monday and Tuesday off and enjoyed their actual birthday home enjoying little surprises.  Bedroom floors littered with balloons and streamers.  Homemade sprinkle pancakes with cool whip.  Slush puppies.  Their first Pizza Hut bread sticks.  The largest, yummiest chocolate chip cookie cake and family birthday presents.
