Saturday we started the process of registering which was a lot of fun. We were SO grateful to have the help and advice of our friend, Suzy, who also has twins and was a great resource for us! We registered at Babies R Us and also at Amazon.com to have a better selection for some of the things that we weren't able to find at Babies R Us. The registries are still a work in progress but we were thrilled to get such a great start, so thank you Suzy! It is amazing how many things such a small baby or babies in our case need! Our house is going to be filled to the brim with baby goods (and love of course!) in no time!
Last week was an exciting week for us, not only because we found out the gender but also because I have started to feel the babies move a lot more. It's such a weird sensation and Mike is still hopeful that he if he keeps his hands on my belly long enough, he will feel something..... no luck with that yet but that will be another exciting landmark that will come with time.
Much of the remainder of our weekend was spent busting our butts in the babies room. Mike and I have been become spackling masters... well maybe master wouldn't be the best word... spackling addicts and we have been doing a lot of taping and sanding, taping and sanding. The good news is that our work is showing off and we hope to be done with this part of the project soon. Again, I will post updated pictures of the nursery shortly.
