We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with both of our families at our house for dinner. It was great to see everyone enjoying each others company and so nice to have everyone we loved around us. It was also a major reality when we realized that "next year at this time" we will have 2 - 9 month olds! How different our world will be! We decided that maybe we should consider adding a table leaf to our baby registry :)
With great excitement I can say that we are almost ready for the boys to come... well in terms of their room anyway :) We had tons of help from our families this past week and weekend and are really moving along. The walls in the nursery at primed and painted x 2. I feel a bit "broken" with this pregnancy since I am officially totally incapable of making ANY decisions. I think it took me about 3 weeks to pick out the first paint color for the nursery. Notice that I say "first color." Thankfully, Mike is a good sport and it willing to put up with me as I changed my mind after we purchased all of the paint, painted the walls one coat and decided that the room looked like it was ready for an easter egg hunt. The color looked great in a one inch paint sample but in a well lit, large room it was bright and lets just say.... unforgetable! So... Mike went back to the paint store for one more try and this time it was a success. We have a wonderful, warm light green color that I am thrilled with. Something that you don't need to wear sunglasses to enjoy.
I will post nursery pictures this weekend and also belly pictures. I am certainly expanding... I have not decided whether that is due to the growing baby boys inside or too many Thanksgiving snacks, meals, desserts and now leftovers! We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgivings as well!
