Busy Belly

Mike and I were both in awe when we realized that in less than 13 weeks, the babies will be here!  It was a busy week in my belly with lots of movement.  The movement has gotten stronger and can easily be felt on the outside now which is what Mike was looking forward to the most.  It is so reassuring to feel them moving around and it always leaves me wondering whether their kicking, punching, or just swimming around.

I finally got our printer to cooperate so I could scan in the photos from last week.  As I mentioned before, we were only able to get pictures of one baby, Baby "A" which is the bigger of the two babies.  I am guessing that years from now, we will be hearing that we had a favorite baby from early on since we only have pictures at 24 weeks of one of them.  The good news is that since they are identical, it really won't matter much!

Mike was busy this weekend working on finishing up the patching and spackling on the hallway ceiling.  It has been quite a task since we decided to scrap the popcorn ceilings flat in that room.  He finished the ceilings today and put on the first coat of primer and it looks great!  He also started to built the shelves in the babies closet so that "I can do my nesting thing."  Yesterday we made our weekly trip to Home Depot and picked up the rest of the baseboard and crown molding that we need... at least we hope!

It will be a busy week ahead with a lot of holiday festivities so I am guessing that next week at this time, I will be feeling much bigger from all of the delicious parties and yummy treats!  I'll keep you posted!
